Martha's Vineyard

One of my most favorite things to do in the whole world I think is to take the ferry over to Martha's Vineyard and bike around. It is one of the prettiest places I have ever been. This is on the ferry on the way over.

I took almost the exact same picture of Connor doing the same thing last year; he just seems to look so pensive when he looks at the water.

Hard to see, but Jeremy actually spotted 3 [small] sharks in the shallow waters as we walked to the light house; this is one of them.

Love this picture of the boys. Reid actually went into the water and fell over a few minutes later.

I wish Annalise was actually visible in this picture, but she is present and accounted for under the blanket.

Cape Cod 2011

Cape Cod is without a doubt, my favorite family vacation spot. We are so lucky that my godparents, Aunt Pam and Uncle Bob have let us invade them for the second year in a row. And we do not travel lightly and we definitely bring mass chaos with us. I wish I would have taken some pictures at the airport with all of our gear. I will just say that we had: 3 children, 3 carseats, 1 stroller, 4 suitcases, and 3 carry-ons. We were a sight!

The first day was rainy and cold so we went to the local aquarium. They have 2 rescued seals and they gave each child a fish to throw to them.

Fun at the beach...

Father's Day was great! We had lobster on the patio--I was meant to live this life! The boys were interested in taking it apart, but not so much in eating it.

Here are some of the pictures I took on an after dinner walk we took with my parents.

Last hurrah with the Echols.....

One of the hardest parts of being a military family is saying goodbye to friends. This has been especially true here because we have made fantastic friends AND almost everyone we know is moving and we are staying another year. Connor's best buddy here has been Jackson Echols and how convenient that has been since his mother has been my best friend here as well:) Which makes it doubly hard to say goodbye. Actually all of the kids have gotten along so well and just LOVE each other. We truly do not know what we are going to do without all of our play-dates and dinners together.

Here are Connor and Jackson at their first ever sleepover at our house in a tent sent up in the guest room. Not much sleep was had by anyone that night!

A random cute one of Reid...
